It reminded her of what could be. Sometimes she fantasized about being one of those star quidditch players on the covers of magazines such as Quidditch International or Snitch: The Magazine and racing through the air on a Nimbus 4000. However, in her heart she knew how unlikely that would be. Hogwarts hadn’t even had quidditch the past two years and she had only ever played for the recreational summer leagues. If she was to be noticed in a more professional capacity she would need to make the competitive summer league. Spotting Carsyn browsing the shelves, Cordelia couldn’t help herself but to bring up the subject of Hogwarts quidditch. ”Reckon they’ll let us play quidditch at school again next year?” If there was to be quidditch again, Cordelia was on for the battle at tryouts to be seeker.
Carsyn was only convinced that Cordelia was the last person to hold the rank of Gryffindor Seeker because the last couple years hadn't been conducive to her playing. It was something she would happily remind the younger lion of; she knew she had her own merits, playing for the national under seventeen team.

Speaking of Cordelia, there she was, of course because it seemed to be a trend ... and bringing up Hogwarts Quidditch, a subject that seemed more like a dream than something that would have happen. She only had two years left to achieve this goal and it seemed quite unreachable, if Carsyn was being honest. "I'm not overly optimistic about being able to play quidditch at school. But I'm always game from sprinting competitions, ya know?"
