Thinking about her comfy bed, her walls that weren't shared by anyone put a smile on her face. That was until she thought of the new baby that was coming. Would they try to make her share her room with it? No, they wouldn't make basically an adult witch share a damn room with a baby, right?
Ugh
Thinking about all this stuff she hadn't really even been checking compartments when she opened one and started headed in. "Oh, Nina, hi, do you mind if I join you?" She had an entire shelf full of books she planned to read when she arrived home, but it was never to early to begin her summer reading list. The summer holiday was good for that, you know? Pleasure reading. It was something she didn't give herself much time to do during the school year when her schedule was typically reserved for textbooks. This would only worsen with the coming of NEWTs, of course. In the meantime, however, she would allow herself a train ride sans NEWT-induced stress.
She heard the compartment door open as she turned to the next page, and didn't look up until she reached its end. Obviously she expected the compartment's new occupant to be Calyx. Though she hadn't necessarily told him where she would be sitting or that she would be waiting for him, she figured he'd know to find her. He was really good about that sort of thing. So you could imagine her surprise when the voice was about two octaves higher than the one she was expecting. "Oh," her voice wasn't exactly reflecting disappointment (though she was feeling a little bit of that), but it was one reflecting her surprise. "Hi, Chloe," she greeted the girl with a polite smile. "... No, I don't mind." Though she really hoped the Ravenclaw would leave when Calyx stopped by because she was hoping for some privacy before they had to part ways for the summer. Not that they wouldn't be meeting up, but schedules were slightly less predictable during the summer holiday. "You must be proud of Gunnar," Nina held him in very high regard. Graduating from Hogwarts with the Headboy badge, and countless other distinctions, she was sure.
