Even with his surprise over hearing that there’d be three Ravenclaws in Canada this summer, Ewan couldn’t help but quickly cast a glance in the same direction that Missa was looking in, curious to see what was holding her gaze, his eyes eventually resting on Eiji. Huh. What more was there to say? In a big school like Hogwarts, there were many social circles and this Ravenclaw wasn’t exactly in that particular one so if Eiji walking out of the great hall was interesting to Missa, he had no idea. “I’m sure you’ll find something to do” he replied now, his attention back on the conversation. “I’m most likely going to go back to Wales for a few days and see a few friends and then head back to Canada” It wasn’t exactly fun and games though. Between his helping to look after his niece and the farm, this would be one busy prefect. Not to mention the revision he would have to do too!

Out of the corner his eye, Ewan couldn’t help but cast a glance at Chloe as she sat opposite him only to notice she’d stuck her tongue out at him. Grinning back, he gave her a small wink and turned his attention back to Heath. Chloe did seem a little more subdued to him this particular feast but that could have well been down to her brother graduating. He couldn’t exactly blame her though. The idea of spending all of your school years with someone, a brother, only for them to not be there the following year, that was a lot. Way too much for this particular Ravenclaw.

With that in mind, he tried not to sound to down trodden when he replied to Heath “Yeah, I can imagine. Home schooling is a little safer” laughing now although he really shouldn’t be. With so much drama and near fatal experiences, he was honestly surprised the school hadn’t been shut down. “You can’t really get this type of experience back home though. You know, hands on”. He’d honestly considered staying home and home schooling himself somehow but in his seventh year, being at Hogwarts just seemed like a necessity.

After waiting for the headmaster’s speech, the Ravenclaw prefect turned back to Heath and Jina “My Aunt and her Boyfriend live in Nelson. They own a farm out there so I’m basically going to be slave labour this summer” Which was true and also not true. “It’s not going to be as fun as acting camp I’m guessing but looking after animals has its own benefits” What was he saying, he adored the farm animals and don’t even get him started on when lambing season starts. Was the 6ft2 Ravenclaw prefect gushing over baby lambs? Why yes. Yes, he was.
