Just because one was well versed in science and calculation did not mean that one's mind was any more complicated than the next person. Intellect of this sort rarely interested nor thrilled her and she required a much more existential mind.
Her thin brow arched in irritation at his obvious lack of manners. While she too always offered her own name up with much reluctance, she expected the same courtesy to be given to her unprompted. Apparently her expectations were still too high when it came to people. "Because I desired to," she replied simply. There really was no deeper reason than that.
