At least he hadn’t had any explosions, both of his eyebrows were still intact, and he didn’t smell like brunt pineapple. ”How long haf you been doing it?” Because she sounded on the younger side. Didn’t mean she was – just that Adam couldn’t tell, what with being mostly blind and all.

And she clearly hadn’t been around the ministry long if she didn’t know about the food court.”Vere to schtart…” he mused. He should probably keep his own personal experiences with the food court of his this review. He doubted she would end up with pudding dumped on her head by an auror who though it was funny to pick on the blind guy. And she probably had no interested in learning he’d gotten into a huge fight with his….what was Zita? He still wasn’t sure even after all this time. But it wasn’t the time to decide if he was single or not. So he went with, ”Ze food zere had turned humans into animals a few years ago undt vell,” he waved his finger which was currently wrapped up in the lady’s handkerchief around. [b]” All ze owls.”[/b He could only imagine the mess. ”Personally, I'd take a few extra minutes to go to ze cafe off uff Trafalgar square.”

Just then the doors opened on Level 7. He didn't hear the sound of the fountain and sighed. His grip tightened on his support stick. It was ok. he could probably manage the stairs down one flight. "I zink I'll try mein chances on ze schtairs before ve get trapped in here like ambassadors did a few monzs ago."

“It really is fulfilling. I get to help people. What more do you need?” It was an interesting question at least. What more did she need? If you’d have asked her a few months back when the memos had been going AWOL, she would have said sleep. But now, she was content with her work even if it did cause her social life to suffer. “I’ve actually been in the ministry a little over a year now?” it was more of a question to herself than her lift buddy really. It had seemed like a life time ago that she’d joined but in reality, it was just a year. One year of hard work.

Eyes glazed over now, Delyth stood there in the lift as it swerved and swivelled towards their destination. True, she loved her job but she still didn’t know how long she would be there for. She wanted more of a work/life balance and working on level one, it just wasn’t working at the moment. Sighing, she forced herself to focus on the conversation at hand. Ah, the food court.

“Really? Animals? How on did that happen?” she replied, covering her mouth now as she chuckled, self-conscious that she would start giggling if she didn’t. Maybe the food court wasn’t the best idea but she’d just coming in from London having caught the muggle train in from the flat and venturing back up to Trafalgar Square was just too much effort for this petite ministry worker. “Maybe I’ll try Trafalgar Square tomorrow” her face a picture of concentration as she tried her hardest, and failed to not giggle at the handkerchief that was being waved in her face. This fellow really was an odd egg. Giving a small nod and polite wave, she stepped back, giving him plenty of space to get off. “You do that. If anyone asks where I am, tell them I’m most likely still trying to go up to the food court”.
