Finally. Thank god the final feast was here to rescue him from his below average school year. How it had been so dramatic and full of detention the tall prefect would never know but he was happy to be waving goodbye to it all the same.

Sitting in the middle of the hall, he couldn’t help but cast a glance around at the hall for a brief moment with an almost wistfully for a moment though. Unsure if he was coming back, it was almost bitter sweet now that he really too the time to really think about what was happening. Now that he was here in the moment. Sure, this year hadn’t been great but he’d there was so much more here than just the negative memories of this year. And the food! People could say what they want but coming back here after a long summer of sofa surfing, living off scraps and then having everything you could ever want all on one table…what more could you ask for?

Either way, in a few days he’d be back home with Eleanor and Kingsley, most likely covered in copious amounts of mud, AKA, his happy place. And with that thought, Ewan sat there, most likely staring off into space for the moment as he waited for his fellow students to arrive.
