"Then you need not ask such unnecessary questions." Was he also accustomed to strangers telling them their live stories or indulge him in idly chit chat? He would have no such luck here as it took literal years for her to offer any real personal anecdotes to anyone.
She did know that she did not enjoy the way his eyes were taking her in. A curse of her own appearance, truly.
And yes. It would be incredibly inappropriate and she would not react well to such questioning. So he could continue to occupy his mouth with that sandwich and otherwise leave her to her own affairs of which presently revolved around removing her wand from her holster and taking aim. Right, she had a point there. David initially hadn't been sure what to say to the growling and the apron tossing and the sudden appearance of the albino woman nearby him, so curse him for attempting to use the platitudes that worked for everyone else. But not literally, please. Allow the boy man to finish his sandwich before any cursing happened.
He finished off the last bite of sandwich and hurriedly held out his hand as he saw what the strange being was doing next. "Hang on," Davie blocked the trash can with one hand while he balled up his sandwich wrapper with the other, took aim, and successfully made it into the bin in one go. Cheerio! Now he moved his hand away and took a small step backwards, pocketing both hands in his jacket as he intended to watch the rest of this display of fury.
He nodded to the ferocious one but kept his blue eyes trained on the bin.
"Ready, aim, and........ fire?"
