Why did the woman have to bring him into her space? Annie huffed at the both of them and moved further into the back of the shop, closer to the oddballs in trench coats and whatnot. Of course, here were foe glasses back here, interestingly enough. At the sound of someone's else's voice, Charlotte's gaze flickered away from the mirrors. Honestly? The first thing she noticed was the woman's handbag, never mind what she'd said. Whatever it had been. Anyway, back to the handbag. Small, but perfect for a little outing at Diagon Alley. She might have said as much, but at the woman's huff, Charlotte nonchalantly went back to her mirror shopping.
She picked out the perfect security mirror and sent it off with the shopkeeper as she ventured to the back of the store. She tried to keep her gaze straight ahead, but she couldn't help but catch sight of the entourage of people bundled up in trench coats like it was negative forty out. That was no fashion mistake. They were clearly up to something, but as long as they waited until Charlotte left with her mirrors, she could care less what happened after that.
As Charlotte drew her attention back to the foe glasses, she happened to notice that the same woman she encountered in the front of the store was now here in the back of the store. She normally wouldn't pay that fact any extra attention at all, expect when Charlotte made her next move, her handbag happened to bump into the other lady's handbag. "Oh, excuse me," she said. "I was actually just thinking how much I love that bag of yours." And now look, here she'd gone and bumped into it.
