Of course, that was exactly where she was going to sit and find out what they were doing today. As she sat down her eyes never left the plant and it took everything in her to not touch it to see if it would squirt or make noises. "Are these lovely. They make the most interesting sounds too."
It might not have been a great greeting to her tablemates, but her interest in the mimbletonia had her attention fully at the moment, sorry girls.
As more and more people starting pouring into the room, Isla started to feel like a complete loner over at table one. Hopefully it was the plant and not
her. Regardless, a minute later, and older student joined her, and a very-grateful Isla smiled up at her.
"Hey, Carsyn," she greeted, because at this point in the school year, she pretty much knew everybody's name.
Another passing minute saw a
second older student joined them. GOOD. Maybe they knew all the answers to everything they'd have to do!
"Hey, Chloe," she said, greeting the other girl. She looked at the plant, which she knew the name of but not much else. The most interesting sounds, huh? Isla had pretty much sat here because she'd thought the plant looked cool. Maybe she should start thinking a little more outside the box about things. Also, she wanted to hear the sounds!
