Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Gunnar very much agreed that getting the founders back into the portraits should be done first, even if he still thought they needed to figure out how it happened in the first place. Because...if it happened once, surely it could happen again. But that was if they could get them back in at all.
It was disappointing to hear that magic wouldn't work the way that he hoped, at least according to Kodee, because much of what he was thinking in way of loosely thrown together plan hinged on magic.
There were other ways that would work though, including what his Gryffindor friend suggested. Except for the part about bait. It wasn't necessary to use girls that way.
And just like that, there was Slytherin demanding to know Nina's blood status. Gunnar gave a nod to Kodee and whispered back, "You take one side, I'll take the other." Piece of cake. He didn't have a sword like Gryffindor and would be no match against two strapping young men, like himself.
But before he could make a move, even as the founder starting arguing with Recard, Gunnar's attention was drawn towards yet another portrait, this one in her frame. Or someone's frame. Oh good, because they'd apparently need those frames to put the founders back where they belonged. Even if Slytherin clearly did not want to go back... "Wait!" he called towards the retreating founder and cast Incarcerous at him. Hopefully the magical ropes would reach their target, but either way, they'd need to catch up to him... or head downstairs to get the frames to lure him in.
