She could only imagine what it would be like to know exactly which house you belonged in. Like how were people so sure of their life and their personality and such. It really got her thinking. But then she heard Rylee say something about the sorting hat not being wrong, “I suppose you’re right.” She glanced around the room again gauging how well she’d be able to do the spell.
Seeing Charlie look around and hearing the uncertainty in her voice made Rylee nod.
"I am but I can always put up a few protective charms just to be extra safe." She winked at her glad that she was wanting to safe rather than sorry. Before they did any charm casting for real she would do that.
Rylee listened closer to the younger lions pronunciation.
"That's really good but I want you to give it another try putting more emphasis on 'in'. Deef-IN-doe. Diffindo." She repeated once again more slowly this time and going as far as to say it along with Charlie a handful of times again. Each time they spoke the incantation, Rylee got quieter and quieter until she was silent and it was only her new friend reciting it all on her own nice and clear.
"Ready to try the hand movement now without the incantation?"
Was Rylee right? Maybe. Only time would tell for sure.
"You know... I could help you with that as well if you like. Help you find your inner lioness." All Charlie really needed was to be confident in herself and her own abilities and sometimes all it took was having someone else believe in you first.
