urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse While Lucas wasn't really paying attention to who he sat down next to, he did end up noticing when someone came and sat down next to him. While he knew Nina and had interned with her over the summer, he didn't think they were fRIENDS - no offence - so it was safe to say that he was confused. And she was greeting him? Uh????
He gave her a very awkward smile but decided not to say anything. Hey. Hello. Please don't let there be group work.
When the lesson started, he turned his attention back to the front and...... was immediately disappointed. Piggyback answers? This just sounded like another word for a discussion and that was something that this Gryffindor wasn't taking part in. No. He was just..... going to sit there. And listen. And show some face reactions that he couldn't hide because some of the answers were very weird.
It came as a relief when the discussion stopped - AND when a parchment of notes flew into his cubby. And the news about keeping the plant? Well, yeah. Okay. It was nice of Rainwater but not something he cared a lot about. But, then again, he could always use it for his skin. Or simply give it away to his mum or Emma or-
Oh, they were starting? Right.
Lucas strapped on his gloves, giving his fingers a little wiggle at the end before taking out his wand. Using Diffindo to cut off one of the large leaves sounded easy enough - and that's exactly what he went on to do. But, uh, 5mm slices? Lucas bit his lip as he glanced up at the board and then back down at the leaf again. What if they weren't the same? Or weren't 5mm exactly? What then?
Oh merlin oh merlin oh merlin.
His heart started thumping loudly again and it was all he could hear as he bent over the aloe leaf. But he did his best to ignore it as he started using Diffindo to cut up the leaf into 5mm slices. Or, well, as close to 5mm as he could get it. Some were a little smaller than others but Rainwater wouldn't mind, right? Maybe he won't notice. Yeah. Maybe.
After what seemed like the entire lesson, the fifth year straightened up, rubbing the back of his neck as he did so. He had slices. That was a start, right? He started placing them onto a tray, leaving one behind for......... well, he didn't know what for but he had the one. One that he didn't really feel very comfortable with touching right now.
Instead, he went to quickly place the tray into the, uh, dehydrator, was it?Yeah. That.
