Salazar did not MEAN to stumble upon the group of students, and their equally incompetent professors, as he made his way back to the dungeons. He had been snooping around the library, trying to get a school roster into his hands so he could start going through each Slytherin student, one by one, and weeding out those that were less desirable than he would have liked. What would happen to them? Quite frankly, he didn't care. He was an advocate of replacing the house elves with the students who had CLEARLY tricked that measly old hat in to putting them in his grand house, but that might be a bit too drastic and he needed support from Helga, Rowena, even Godric if it was going to work.
As he turned the corner, he paused and noted the small gathering of students. While he may have been cautious a few months ago, the Slytherin founder was bolder now and he approached the group, eyeing the Slytherin girl (Nina) and wasting no time as he got right to business. "YOU! Girl! Are you a pureblood?" he asked, eyeing her robes in interest. If she wasn't...well, thank goodness that smart Head Boy that he had met earlier in the year was here to escort her away!
