If she knew Kodee Chosen would be joining the group, Nina would have abstained from joining in on the hunt all together. Unfortunately it would be far too embarrassing to opt out now, and so she was stuck. Stuck with Healer Recard, Professor Rainwater, and Kodee Chosen of all people. In fact, the only person in this group who she truly liked was Gunnar McCarthy. Coincidentally, his idea was the only one worth acknowledging because Nina was quite certain that Kodee hadn’t actually seen Helga Hufflepuff heading towards the kitchens. He earned a judgmental look for that.

Professor Rainwater also spoke rather intelligent words. Nina would NOT under any circumstances put herself in a situation where she would find herself anywhere near Gryffindor’s sword. No. Rainwater was still her shield, by the way. She called dibs. This also meant she was keeping a low profile during the search as to not single herself out and find herself in the line of fire. That was a Gryffindors job. So, like, Kodee could be the sacrifice!
All to say that she simply shook her head in reply to Healer Recard’s question.
