Kodee eyeballed the Professor who'd somehow mercifully gotten Beckett to stop crying. Was he mocking him? Was he a joke to him? Was this a test? Could he receive his failing grade and be done with it? Kids...babies...were more annoying than he remembered them ever being.

Schmoe continued to bounce Beckett up and down whilst he looked at Kodee. The Gryffindor eyeballed the Schmoe. And the Schmoe just eyeballed the Gryffindor right back. If this were to be a staring contest, Finneas would have lost about ten times by this point, as he was blinking quite a bit. The prolonged eyeballing was really making him uncomfortable.

Finneas scratched his head.
