| ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. SPOILER!!: Cole! <3 Quote:
Originally Posted by Nordic Witch Cole was by no means an expert at handling a baby. He was worried and panicky inwardly all the time that he was doing something wrong, but on the outside he tried his best to give the appearance of being in control. Only reason he hadn't broken down yet was that Cole had somehow unconsciously taken note and applied to memory how his father had cared for his sister Isobel. Not being able to contain a laugh at her grimace Cole said "I think the diaper changes are the worst, not the feeing or burping. Because baby poop smell awful." He left out that he got nauseous at taking care of someone else's poop unless it was his rat. Shooting Christopher a quick glance he said when his eyes we're back on Claudine "The trick I think to holding a baby is just to support their heads and hold them close to your own body and you'll do okay."
Reaching up to scratch Harry again he said "I actually have four rats." With a sad sigh he revealed "I have to give the other three away or send them home because otherwise i'll be breaking the school rules." Cole certainly didn't want to get on Professor Sandhu's bad side. "I'm not giving Harry here away, but his siblings if you are interested?"
Claudine shook her head in slight disgust. It was what she always dreaded: cleaning the baby’s poop. Burping, feeding, clothing and even having contact with Christopher were things she could live with. But poop? That would take some getting used to. Instead of focusing on that disgusting bit of the human body, she swept her gaze over Cole’s hold on Christopher’s little form. “Is is alright if I give it a try?’’ If she was going to be the ‘mommy’, she might as well learn to do things properly. What?
The second year blinked. Four rats? Had he been looking to get into trouble? Harry was cute and the thought of having a pet rat in a place where most students had owls and pygmy puffs was appealing to her. She disliked to follow the crowd, you see. “I’ll happily adopt one.’’ Some of her family members wouldn’t be thrilled and that pleased her. “When do I get to choose one?’’ Did Cole have the rest lurking around somewhere? |
