Where did most people store stuff that wasn't out on display? There were three options that came to Noble's mind: the attic, the shed, or in the basement. And given Hogwarts' didn't really have the first two, here seemed as good as place as any.
He nudged open the hidden door, lighting his wand as he stepped inside. "Okay, then...spread out, and search as quickly and as thoroughly as you can." In the meantime, he'd get some better lighting sorted out so they could actually see what they were working with.
