The first thing that popped into Isla's mind was that she had been address as 'Bellchant', whereas Cecilia had been address as 'my dear'. Did that make Isla what they call the 'black sheep'? Maybe she should scurry off with Noble or Recard after all? Maybe she was just overreacting, but she could suddenly picture herself being "thrown to the wolves" when push came to shove.
