Kaiser mumbled something indistinct as Eris headed over to give his greeting, but most likely he was simply attempting to return the pleasantries.He figured he already knew why Eris had troubled himself with coming all the way over here, but he still twitched slightly at the question, and then again at the fussing over the doll. It was building again, building, building.
"No," was all he said at last (sounding just as tired and dead inside as he felt and looked) though he felt that that much should have been obvious. If he had found a way, he would have been employing it. Kaiser certainly wasn't listening to the crying for fun - it wreaked absolute havoc with his headaches - but the thing just never stopped. He was certain he'd ended up with one that had a defective crying mechanism or something.
To Eris' suggestion, however, Kaiser found himself more amenable. "Yes... yes, I think I will," he said, sounding somewhat distracted and faraway, pushing his chair back rather suddenly and lifting the fake baby from the moses basket. "I will be back..." He let the unfinished sentence hang in the air, not wishing to commit himself to returning within the next few minutes, or even before the end of the lesson.
... Yes, best just... leave it at that. Kaiser shouldered his school bag, as well as the bag of baby supplies, and walked straight out without another word, bringing the squalling Bambino with him.
