Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Heath no longer needed wardrobe or makeup to help him get into the character of a sleep-deprived new dad. After yet another night staying up with a fussy baby Leia, the young Ravenclaw was looking worse for wear as he entered the classroom. His long dark hair was messier than usual, and there were pronounced dark circles under his eyes. HIs school bag was slung across his left shoulder, while Leia’s baby bag hung over his right. The baby herself was wrapped in a Star Wars blanket in his arms. Carrying all this stuff with him everywhere made him feel like a pack mule, but Heathcliff Jones was nothing if not a committed actor.
He had just walked in when the all too familiar sound of a crying baby jerked him out of his sleep-deprived stupor. His tiredness immediately turned to concern. Oh, no! What was wrong with poor baby Leia? HIs eyes instinctively darted to the blanketed bundle, only to find Leia nestled contentedly in his arms. Hmm… must’ve been someone else’s baby being fussy, but he was too distracted to see which one it was. “Hello, Professor,” Heath greeted, stifling a yawn. Wait, was he seeing things or did the professor have a -?.He looked again, and his mood instantly brightened at the sight of the other baby. He smiled the smile of a doting dad, waving at the professor’s baby. Hi, baby! “Look, Leia!” he said, shifting the blanketed bundle in his arms. “There’s a baby just like you.” Turning his attention back to the professor, he said, “What’s your baby’s name, sir?” Because it had to have a name, didn’t it?
Reluctantly tearing himself away from the baby, Heath made a beeline for the moses baskets. He gently laid Leia down, adjusting her hat, and took a seat beside Charlie. “Hey,” he greeted quietly.
