~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. It was Claudine’s turn to take the baby today, and she did so a little less grudgingly than she had done before. Christopher was growing on her though she was still not keen on having a kiddo of her own until way, way in the future. Or maybe none at all if she could help it. “Good morning, Professor Eris,’’ the second year said distractedly. The ever quiet Christopher was balanced in the right hand while on her left shoulder, she had the baby bag of supplies, the moses basket and her own bag filled with her books.
She came back to the real world long enough to see the words on the board. The girl’s gaze shifted around the classroom. Apparently she was first but that was fine. Someone would sit with her, right? Maybe Cole would when he got there as he was the co-parent. That’s when she noted Eris had a baby of his own. “If Christopher could talk, I’m sure he’d want to tell your baby hello.’’ Claudine offered Eris a small smile, then went to find a seat. No time was wasted in putting Christopher into it once she was at her desk. |
