Watching her wave her hand in the air was a small reprieve for the Ravenclaw prefect but that was about as much as he was going to get today. The guilt about losing all of those points was slowly setting in and then with it, the fact that he most likely wasn’t going to make Head Boy with it and it stung the tall, fluffy haired prefect. A lot. And if you add that to the fact that he was missing Eleanor and the rest of his family, one could say he was pretty down in the dumps. As his anger slowly descended into sadness, so did his shoulders, the tenseness dropping as the minutes passed.

“Thanks Ry…I uhh… don’t really feel like talking about it much though to be honest” he whispered quietly over his shoulder, half hoping that the music would drown out his words anyway. Even with everything else that had been going on, the majority of his guilt was coming from another mistake decision he’d made. Sure, he didn’t regret it but he wasn’t exactly learning to live with his decision either.

Throwing his brush down, he just sat there staring at the canvas in front of him without really seeing. He couldn’t paint anymore. The distraction was lost on him.
