YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Well wasn't this Slytherin simply a delight. Then again, she supposed there were worse people she could be dueling against and practicing a duel against someone with such a sour disposition was probably a good thing. Maybe? Actually Carsyn had literally no idea, but she was still going to make the best of it despite his dry personality. Was he always so dry? Or did he show it off just for her?
Fighting the urge to roll her eyes at him, because they were in a duel, whether he liked it or not, she watched and waited. Oh, nothing, which meant the first move was hers to make? How gentleman-like of him. Or was it just him being more of a passive person? Carsyn wished at that moment she was of the more observant sort because perhaps then she'd be able to predict his encounters better, but alas, she was not. She was observant enough to know that he was not going to attack her first, but that was about where the line drew.
Which meant that if they wanted to progress with the duel - given the headmaster watching they probably did - she would have to cast first.
A fairly strong Jelly-Fingers Curse was what she chose to send his way, hoping to make his grip unstable with his wand. Maybe.
