Karaoke night was in interesting decision, Frankie had to admit. Now, did the Auror know how to carry a tune? No. The boy was tone deaf and Merlin knew his 'singing' would likely cause a banshee to run for her galleons. But was that going to stop him from hopping on stage at some point that evening? Probably not. His Gryffindor energy was strong today, and the whole point of them being here was to have fun and relax.

That was easier said that done for some though. After getting a drink in his hand, he scanned the underground coffee club, more so out of Auror instinct than anything. His blue eyes quickly locked in on Simon. Naturally, the blond casually made his way over to the man, swiftly swaying to the tune that was being sung.

"Fancy a duet later, mate?" he asked the Head of Security with a cheeky grin. Of course he knew that the man would outright refuse, but it never hurt to poke a little fun at Mr. Serious.

So there was an underground coffee club in the Ministry? Link found that a bit odd to say the least. Nevertheless, here he was, one of the newer employees to the government body, present and ready to mingle. In spite of the unexpected location, he was actually excited for the event. Everything about it appealed for his need to be a social butterfly, not to mention the fact that he was a singer and once was in a band until his life turned upside down.

Was there a queue? He was just curious, not that he was going to be signing himself up quite yet. It was a bit too early to amaze his new co-workers with his angelic voice. He needed to check the song list before doing so anyway. It would be a bit iconic to wow them with a song from the band he was a part of a decade ago and maybe take some on a trip of nostalgia for those who were familiar with The Howlers...

In the meantime, however, the werewolf advisor was going to get a few drinks in him. Priorities.
