Stuck inside with Sirius | *Splish-Splash* | bamBAM | ☁ Spooktacular ☁

There were a growing number of queasy faces in the room, and a fair bit of wincing too as legs got pinned, but though he definitely noticed them, Noble hardly felt need to address it unless one of them did actually vomit. They all seemed focused enough, and he’d given them an out, should they really wish to take it. He was surprised more of them hadn’t, honestly. Especially Heath…though, admittedly, the Ravenclaw did look like he was having second thoughts.

Meanwhile, there was one Slytherin that really starting to get on his wick, between her disgusted muttering under her breath, and the plugging of her nose. “That’ll be five points from Slytherin, Nina,” Noble said, steely gaze watching her. “I said I would not be tolerating of stupidity….I would have hoped that by sixth year you might’ve had the sense to use a bubblehead charm on yourself, rather than attempt a complicated procedure one handed.” If she was that disgusted by it, why was she making it ever harder for herself to get it over with? “Oh, and another five points for that whinging. I can hear you, you know. If you don’t want to be here, then I’d prefer you leave than distract everyone else.” Goodness knows Kodee was easily enough distracted as was.

That said, he glanced round at how the other students were getting on. Gently, Bernadette,” Noble reminded the Gryffindor as he heard that loud splat, before round to check how the other second years were doing. So far so good, and he glanced over to Cole at the boy's question. “It doesn’t matter,” Noble replied. “We’ll harvest them eventually, but you may gently close them if you’d prefer.” It didn’t bother him either way.

He glanced at his watch, somewhat surprised when he saw how little time they had remaining. He’d hoped they would at least getting to identifying the internal organs, but he’d rather not have them rush the opening of the chest cavity. Better to just leave it all for next class.

“It looks like that’s as far as we’re going to get today, folks,” he announced to the room. “To finish up, recast the preservation spell over your specimen, write your name on your dissection tray, and go put it neatly on the side bench. We’ll be continuing next class.” When he had a funny suspicion several students might be feigning illness in the hospital wing. “Your homework is to write a 12 inch essay on ‘Plant-based alternative for creature-derived ingredients’.”

ooc: That's a wrap! Thank you ALL so much for coming to play, I've loved seeing your responses <3 I'll leave the thread open for another day or so in case you want to finish up.
