~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Indeed Claudine was one of those who got the hang of the spell. She was sure that when it came to actually casting it, she was going to have some trouble. But she’d cross that bridge when she got there. Oh… they’d each be harvesting from a frog. A dead bullfrog… killed humanely. Claudine was unsure of how to feel because while she was glad the frogs had been killed humanely, she was still sad that they were dead and that they as students, would be invading its body, scavenging for parts. To make matters worse, it seemed they would be working on this for a few lessons to come.
Claudine happened to be one of those eager and ready-to-get-started students despite her sadness for the frogs. She was not grossed out by the thought of the lifeless bodies, but she was a little nervous about dissecting it. She did as instructed, opening her text to page page fifty seven then peering down to the diagrams. Those tiny organs…
Now, the Snakette quickly laid out the tools that had been shown to them then pulled on the coat, goggles and gloves. Now to collect a frog. She joined the line to get one as she absently thought that naming the poor frog she got was not going to be a good idea. That would just make things more difficult to get through. |
