She was still working up the courage to venture inside when Missa came up behind her and gave her a scare! The Slytherin managed not to let out a squeak, but she did jump in place before turning around. "Of course not," she straightened her back, rolling back her shoulders in an attempt to look far more confident than she felt. "I have a letter." Missa's question was insulting and Nina wasn't pleased. Though she also wasn't about to go inside. ".... You can go ahead," she took a step to the side, giving the girl a sweet smile that she didn't entirely mean.
It was a weird, but not surprising - Nina was unreadable as ever, and Missa had learned to live with it. Initially she had been curious, but now it felt tiring to overthink why Nina acted the way she did.
So, nodding, the brunette returned the smile and without questioning WHY the Slytherin wasn't going in too, Missa entered the place.
Reaching inside her pocket, she pulled out the letter addressed to her dad, before looking around for a suitable owl for the job.
"Excited for the holidays?" she asked, a small mindless conversation did no harm, right?
