Muggle Studies had, surprisingly, come easy for Isla so far. She had a pretty good idea why, and that was because she had gone to muggle primary school from ages four to eleven. The choice of schooling didn't make sense to her at first, but now she was starting to see how beneficial it was to know the best of both worlds.

Having said that...

NOTHING could prepare her for what she was about to do. She was only eleven years old! Sure, she was literally weeks away from turning twelve, but twelve was young, too! She wasn't ready to be a mama and no desire to help some tiny human with messy diapers and feeding times.

But here she was anyway...

"Hello, Professor," she said. "If you hear of anybody looking for a co-parent, let me know!" She'd be a single mother if she had to, but if there was somebody willing to take in a messy diaper or two, she would not start complaining.
