Another thing that made this particularly exciting was that she got to explore it with her best friend for the first time, too. Catherine felt a little like what she did when they were much younger and were experiencing things together. It was a very nice feeling and she would make sure to enjoy every second of it. She was even happy to let her best friend choose where she wanted to go first and would not object or roll her eyes or make any faces.
Lots of display windows were beckoning her to get closer, so that was another reason why she was happy to let Cecelia decide where to go first. There were way too many options. "This place is SO cool!" Cecelia, as always, was filled with excitement and eagerness to explore all the shops, many of which her own parents had frequented when they were kids. It made her feel connected to them and it felt nice, knowing she'd get to enjoy the same things that they had. The fact that Catherine was with her was a bonus, 'specially 'cause her friend actually seemed excited too! Well, as excited as Catherines got. She linked her arm with the Ravenclaw's and offered her a BIG smile. This was going to be EPIC.
"I vote Honeydukes first. They have ALL the best sweets and mum sent some money, so I'm going to stock up. Bet they have sweets we haven't even HEARD of!" Maybe they could even meet up with Noah and do a bit of a taste test! They could pick their favorites so they'd know for next time. It was already a plan in her mind, so it was happening, she'd decided.
