The first thing Catherine did when she entered the room was to look around to see exactly what it looked like so she could decide where she was going to go next. The second thing was to locate the Headmaster and give him a polite nod as a means of greeting because that was what she did instead of speaking up unnecessarily. No, thanks.

The Ravenclaw was slightly annoyed that she had gotten there before her people and decided to wait somewhat close but not too close to the stage. Close enough that she wasn't standing out by being on her own, but also not too close that she might get hit by a poorly aimed spell ~~or question~~.

And no, she hadn't signed up for duelling that year. She had her reasons.

Catherine side-eyed all those who were already there and started wondering who would be duelling that day and how said duels would possibly go.

Hmmm...
