• HuffleStud • Knight of The Zodiac • Manly Beard-Grower • Cicatrice de Harry • This.. Was... Madness... Curtis' cheeky grin only faltered for a fraction of a second as a quill and parchment appeared before him. Looking at his dad helped slightly. Only slight because he didn't understand why his dad was not sticking up for him at some parts. I apologized and didn't throw anything. I was only late and said thank you instead of an I'm sorry and I get this detention? Wasn't getting thrown and nearly getting brain damage punishment enough? Earlier he understood that a Professor's place was below Headmaster and they must follow.. but still. Curtis sighed slowly as he released his hands to take the quill. I wonder if this will hurt me writing it? He shrugged, not caring one way or another.
Curtis looked back up at the questions as his smile fell slowly to no expression. Then he looked back onto the paper with a thoughtful looking expression as he began writing. He took a few moments to consider, should he really write what they want to hear or what they expect him to say? He decided being phony wasn't going to work at all and they wouldn't believe him anyway, he deduced. Quote: - Why do people apologize for being late? Because they have to otherwise it's considered impolite.
- What are they apologizing for? For being late, wasting the Professor's time, and offending them with their own mistakes or decisions.
- What aren’t they apologizing for? For not having an earth shattering excuse.
Curtis then set the quill down. Were these the answers they were looking for? Probably not, but at least I am being honest. |
