And then she spotted the Seventh Year of Dumbness on one of the connecting staircases, and she hopped off hers and onto his. Peered into his bucket. Measured him up. Decided not to push him while he was hanging over the railing like that. But it was a HARD decision.

"Hi! Want to play catch?" She grinned hugely.
He'd seen her coming. Heard her coming, too, but Kodee wasn't initially inclined to divert his attention from where it currently lay. In his mind, Phoebe would keep walking along her way as she was wont to do when she wasn't finding adorable ways to insult him. Must have been hard having a crush on someone so cool, but he'd make it easy for her.

He'd keep doing what he was doing.

Except, that was harder to do when she'd gone and walked up to him like that. Bold. Most girls her age avoided the cute guy they were dying for. Must be a Gryffindor thing. Had to be. Kodee eased off the railing and turned to look at her, his head tilted as he considered her suggestion.

Catch?

"Sure we could, if you had a ball or something you didn't mind breaking." The bucket full of balls sitting right by his feet? They....were....not....necessarily.......for catching.

Ahem.
