He grinned back at his dormmate. "Yeah! Lets! Right at the back wall maybe so it takes longer for it to be discovered! Because, I think the tools and all of that out there," He paused to gesture vaguely in the direction they came, "are so that we can clean this garden up and make it tidy." Which felt like a shame, but he could understand it, he supposed, at a logical level.
"It sort of reminds me of this really old muggle book my grandma read me when I was sick one time, its called The Secret Garden. And the children find a garden and its all messy and stuff, and they make it nice again." No forts in that though.
Rowan was so relieved that he had someone who was just excited about making a fort as he was. It did seem childish to some, but thankfully Flynn seemed to still like to have fun. With that, Rowan peered back where his friend pointed out the tools. He gave a nod. Hopefully their fort would last as long as possible, because he wasn't about to go make one in that scary forest on the grounds.
"The Secret Garden..." he said thoughtfully.
"Y'know, I haven't read any Muggle books I don't think. But that sounds cool, maybe I can find a copy of it sometime and read it." He smiled. He did love reading, especially cool stories and one about a secret garden sounded pretty cool. "Perhaps we can make it nice again too, once our fort gets discovered." He laughed. How long would that take? Maybe no one else would take the time to come in here? He hoped so. He kinda preferred this messy jungle of a garden.
So. Back to building.
"Maybe we can use some large sticks? We can stack them along a tree back there, it could make as a wall if we lean them against that branch..." he gave a point and a small shrug.
"Or whatever you think would be best!" He added. He was all for more ideas.
