So to see his new Prefects doing such an exemplary job at encouraging students was HIGHLy promising. Schmoe was HAPPY. Well, as happy as one could be when they were trying not to get more dust up in their throat, y'know? You win some you lose some.

Despite not minding this task himself, he knew full well that there were others here who would not take kindly to this. Having spent most of his summer cleaning up after various farm animals, this was nothing for him really. When you’ve been elbow deep in animal faecal matter, a little dust was practically a godsend. Finneas wouldn't stand idly either, he planned to help too. As they say, the more the merrier!!! And also, he was growing rather antsy standing still. His fidget spinner was left behind in his office. It was a shame that this blazer did not have more pockets. He still reached for them anyway, as if they existed. Only to be met by sweet, horrid disappointment each time. "Hm?" He blinked a few times, looking over at Ewan as if processing the question on a backlog. "Excellent thought, divide and conquer is admirable strategy." He chuckled awkwardly, but he did mean his words. Splitting into groups sounded to be a good idea as any. And it was why Schmoe would likely start with windows. Quote:

Giving her friends a smile and wave she continued sweeping. "Professor, was your office this bad when you got here?" With a plan of action made, Schmoe went to find a washrag in the pile of supplies, only to be met by one Chloe McCarthy. She was always a pleasure to speak with. So chipper and friendly. It made him uncomfortable in the best way. Better than those who did nothing but frown. Those ones gave him the worst kind of heebee jeebees. Ask Odaline, she was a pro.
He chuckled awkwardly, fiddling with the rag in his hands. "I am afraid so," he replied bobbing his head. Honestly? HoNeStLy? His office was still pretty bad. It was like everything was covered in nine layer dip. Except instead of guacamole and sour cream, all nine layers were dust. "The er... The whole castle is in need of a deep clean." Ha ha ha. Yeah. It was bad.
