Usually the only thing that could motivate Cordelia to wake up this early on a weekend was quidditch practice, but she was roaring to go for this field trip. Cordelia had woken up extra early today to make sure that her backpack was packed with all the diabetes supplies, backup supplies, and fast acting glucose and snacks to keep her blood sugar up that she could possibly need. You know, everything that was necessary to keep her alive. These sorts of trips, while exciting, always made her a little nervous about what could happen in the event that she experienced a medical emergency. Professor Sandhu was aware of how to spot symptoms of severe hypoglycemia, yes? Cordelia could handle pretty much anything other than that on her own. Bounding into the classroom, Cordelia approached the professor to hand in her permission slip. ”Good morning, Professor Sandhu.” After handing in her permission slip, Cordelia joined the group of students. ”Hi Rylee! Hey Cole.” Woo! Get hyped for a FIELD TRIP! This was going to be far more exciting than sitting in a stuffy classroom all day.
