The Book Seekers' Reading Challenge 2020 The Book Seekers' Reading Challenge 2020 Welcome to The Book Seekers’ first ever reading challenge! The prompts are all loosely inspired by the different classes you can take at Hogwarts. There are 13 prompts in total but fear not; you don’t need to complete all of them to win. “Win? Isn’t this supposed to be just for fun?” you might ask. You’re right, it is, but we want to award your accomplishments, too. If you take part in this reading challenge – no matter how many prompts you manage to complete – you will be awarded an accolade. There are additional prizes for those who manage to complete 6 prompts and for those who manage to complete all 13 prompts.
And there’s an extra twist! We will be putting all the participants randomly into teams (keep an eye on your post’s title for which team you're in) and the team with the most combined prompts completed by the end of the year will also win a prize. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: - Post in THIS thread: “I solemnly swear that I am up for this challenge! ”
- That same post will become your reading log for the challenge.
- Record which prompts you have completed and the books (title and author) you read for them by editing them into your post.
- Please make sure it's clear whether the prompt is COMPLETED or IN PROGRESS.
- Have fun!
GUIDELINES & OTHER INFORMATION: - You MUST read a different book for each prompt. We encourage you to read books that you haven’t read before, too, but this isn’t a rule.
- You can sign up for the challenge at any point during the year. Any books that you have read during 2020 can count towards this challenge.
- This is NOT a discussion thread. The Book Nook is, though, and these are some of the things we encourage you to post about in there:
- Discussion relating to TBS Reading Challenge
- Sharing and asking for book recommendations for the prompts
And, finally… THE PROMPTS Quote: - Advanced Charms: Read a book that features platonic love. [Limited-Time Prompt to be completed by April 30th]
