Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent For a ten year old, Autumn had a very busy summer. And yes, much of it was Quidditch related. It only made sense for her, as she would tell anyone who would listen, since Quidditch was in her blood. She was the daughter of two former professional players - Giles Low of the Chudley Cannons and Esme Whittebrook-Low of the Caerphilly Catapults - AND her uncle Henry currently played for the Kenmare Kestrels. That basically meant she was Quidditch royalty. Her words.
And although she was on a youth team, she wanted as much Quidditch as she could get, including any and all Quidditch camps. Autumn was certain that some pro players might even be involved! Not only did she know some of them, but she was pretty much a star-struck fan. Win-win!
She barely paid attention to the other kids already present. Well, she did look around to see who was there, but she didn't notice anyone she knew, so her eyes went to the adults present. "Hi, Uncle Remy!" she called out loudly as she skipped her way towards him. Okay, he wasn't really her uncle, but he was best friends with her real uncle and she had known him forever, basically her whole life!
And since he was a healer and not a player, Autumn paused a moment when it was announced that they were going to get started with games and needed a partner. She wasn't sure if she wanted to partner up with another kid she did not know. But then she spotted someone she did know! "Miss Zinnia!" It was Uncle Henry's teammate. She skipped over towards her next. "We could be partners!" A pro partner would definitely be the best!
