Granted Cole usually followed his cousins around but Carys and Carsyn we're going to be busy this year with their extra responsibilities. Choosing and picking up a handful of chocolate frogs Cole asked "Do you collect frog cards Ewan?"

Truth be told, Ewan’s answer was a little more complicated than the question seemed although the answer, overall, was yes. His summer this year had somehow gotten so much better, surprisingly better than last years summer even. “You have family in Tenerife? Nice”. Ewan really was awed sometimes by the family that the children at Hogwarts have everywhere around the world, even him, himself, with his newly acquired family in Canada. “My summer has pretty amazing so far, thanks. I’ve just spent it with a few friends and then I’m flying back home to Canada” he continued, a wide grin on his face now as he started to talk about Canada and his family out there. They really did change his life last year.

Ewan couldn’t help but give a friendly smile at the younger boy in front of him now, eager to show that he was in fact friendly. It was strange how he seemed to hang around with a lot of girls at Hogwarts, his mind sometimes telling him that he just wasn’t one of those people that guys like. Maybe it was because he wasn’t overly fond of quidditch and a lot of the guys at Hogwarts seemed to live and breath it. Whatever the reason was, today, he was going to try his best to be his usual, friendly self and just wait and see how Cole reacts.

With a small nod, he put down the chocolate frog he was inspecting and picked up another, his eyes trying to divine what card there would be inside. “I only really have a small collection of cards to be honest but I do collect them” He really didn’t eat all that much chocolate which didn’t really help when collecting the cards. Even the frog he planned on buying today was for his Aunty and not him but he figured she’d let him keep the card “I’m guessing you collect them?” Most people at Hogwarts seemed to be collecting them. Yet another thing he couldn't exactly talk about to the guys at Hogwarts.
