Megan fixed herself a strong cup of the good stuff before settling comfily on a chair. She could afford to take a few minutes break. Merlin knew she could because… paperwork. It would be the death of her. “Yeah? Extra busy schedule for Eliora in the few days?’’ Not that Megan was trying to mind the boss lady’s business. She then made a facial expression by slightly turning the side of her lips upside down. “Am I?! Girlll. There is way too much paperwork and reports to be done. Ugh. I really hate that.’’ She wished she’d have a personal helper to do that bit of nuisance. Would Giulia be that willing helper?
Hmmm? Giulia wasn’t the most social in their department, and even though she only really knew people from work she still didn’t choose to willingly mingle outwith work. Her time afterwards was spent relaxing and catching up with her family… which, due to how large it was, meant a lot of mirror calls and letter writing. And sometimes travelling to meet them. Some times. She really missed them though, and was definitely looking forward to being home. The sooner she got caught up, the better. ”For Eliora? Oh, she is always busy.” Between her actual department work, the Department HEad paperwork, the issues with Hogwarts, her relationship (was there one officially yet?), her children… the nanny… And that was only the tip of the iceberg, not touching on meetings or reports, case studies or final read overs of the actual submitted paperwork either. There was always something for the woman to do, which in turn, meant that her own job was never finished.
She laughed ever so slightly at that before drinking rom her coffee cup. ”Oh, you do not need to tell me.” She said, casting a glance at her own desk which looked rather like a tornedo had flown through the office. Just as well she knew what, was where… As long as no-one moved or tidied it up, everything would be okay until she cleared her to do list. … Which would be at some point today. Or she wouldn’t be sleeping before she went to Italy. ”Which means that I am always busy.” She continued, looking away from her desk and back to Megan. ”’ve found keeping on top of it the best solution, but the start of the year has so much more meetings to keep on top of.”
