Yeaaah, it was best she say a quick goodbye to her friend and head off. While everyone was here, it would be a great idea to sneak into the Rose Garden. Would Bernie want to go with her? Claudine brightened at the thought and was about to ask when she felt the arm sneaking around hers. She tensed immediately and looked down slowly at the linked arms. Her jaws clenched. Physical contact with anyone… she hated it. She gently tried to escape free herself from the hold. “Okay, fine. Let’s go.’’ She had gotten so distracted that she had forgotten her idea of the Rose Garden.

She led the way to the girls’ changing rooms. “See you in a few,’’ she said stiffly, still trying to get over the touch from earlier. Reluctantly, Claudine slipped into a room. She hugged herself and she surveyed the clothing. Ugh. What should she choose?

In the end, the Snakette settled for black leggings with a slightly loose tee shirt with a cartoon style snake printed on the front. Claudine quickly registered as requested.

And where was Bernie?
Alright, GOOD. Claudine wasn't ignoring her YET....

Bernie blinked as her friend stiffened suddenly. Hmm. Maybe she was forcing her friendship upon her? Maybe she should be less touchy with others? MAYBE. Or MAYBE Claudine was trying to get out of this DANCING thing again... Bernie didn't trouble herself over it too much. She went into the changing room as Claudine was on her way out, so that they JUST missed each other, and found herself something BLUE and GIRLY and SHIMMERY and GLAM.

It was just a little bit poofy, but it would do for spins and twirls and dancing lessons.

She came out on the other side looking for Claudine, but instead she found...

And then the headmaster made a comment about changing?? ugh ...... rolling his eyes ever so slightly he went to the dressing room, changed and signed the registry stating he was here.

Then he took a look around to see if he recognized anyone.
"BLAAAAAAAAAAKE," Bernadette announced, flouncing over to the first-year boy. "Wow, look at you!" Who would have thought this grumpy gills would be a dancer?! Bernie grinned at him devilishly. "You look nice."

Then she hurried up and signed the thing like he had done, and also joined him in looking around.

Bernie elbowed Blake a bit. "Did you see where Claudine went?" Look, it was just like old times! All THREE of them could learn to dance, right? Or was this a partner thing only? Say, did Blake have any friends?
