Wait, were there creatures among them? Bernadette had brought her own water bottle, so she hadn't really moved from her spot yet. But she did she... a... a bunch of feathers coming from some of the other kids? What the heck? What was this sorcery?! Bernadette LOVED chickens, but not half-human ones!
"You're um, you're turning into a chicken?" she announced loudly, leaning forward and tapping the Ravenclaw prefect on the shoulder. "I am so sorry if this was intentional. If it was, your feathers are VERY nice." Bernie nodded seriously, because, well, chickens were sensitive too.
