"It is a book about a young orphan named Emily who goes to live with her aunts and cousin after the death of her father. I think it is the first in a trilogy of novels. My cousin Lucy gave it to me for Christmas about two years ago. I'm one of the few people she tolerates. Funnily enough, she shares her first name with the author of my book."
When Abra mentioned Nancy Drew, Fiona asked her, "Is that about a detective?" Abra just swallowed a watermelon strap before saying "It's okay, there's enough room to sleep and not be too crowded. But I haven't really spent much time with them. Just the other first years." To be honest, she wasn't interested in spending too much time with people. Especially when most of them were so happy to be back with their friends, or just being at Beauxbatons. "That sounds interesting." Perhaps she could see if the library had a copy. Abra had been pretty determined to get through her homework and do well at school, but she still had a lot of time to fill, and reading was one of the things she liked to fill it with. "Do you read much?" Abra had started to read more and more once her parents disappeared, mostly to fill her mind with something. "Yeah it is," she smiled. "She's an amateur sleuth and she solves mysteries."
