In the midst of isolation following the departure of the last Ministry team, an eerie silence has settled over the grounds of Hogwarts. There is a stillness in the air, reminiscent of the fact the castle has truly and by all means been abandoned.

Approaching the gate, you’ll notice the mist has receded, allowing for more access than had previously been possible. Now, one could make it nearly to the lake in one direction and just shy of the courtyard in the next. Is it finally letting up or simply moved to somewhere else?

What hasn’t changed, is the thick nature of the mist where it remains. Stepping in will be no different from before, vision beyond an arm’s length virtually impossible.
