Austin was glad that he had money left over. This would be his last (next to last, maybe he would go and get some sweets afterwords) purchase, so he didn't have to carry it around everywhere and risk it getting dirty before he even got to school. He could always clean it but not the point. Austin looked up, making a conscious effort to have eye contact.
