Kodee has kind of given me allergies against bunking with Gryffindors." His reply was with a small chuckle. His eyes were fixed upwards on the ceiling, he grabbed his stress ball and started throwing it.
Look at Drew blushing his answer away. Rory couldn't help but feel a little proud over getting to his friend with just one word. He was getting better at it! "Nice red ears, Drew." he teased. "For me? I dunno." He kept throwing his ball, one leg propped up while the other stretched out on the bed. His mind was racing unlike his casual demeanor. He really did not know. Drewett could honestly only imagine. He had never been to the Gryffindor common room before, only ever been outside to perhaps wait for any of his lion friends. Obviously, they didn't have access to it without a password, but he figured there were probably people there sliding down the bannisters or maybe even participating in mattress slides. Things he would never take part in. "Well, d-don't let him hear you say that," Drewett smiled a little, his green eyes following Rory's stress ball up in the air. If there was anything he learned about Kodee, it was that his fists worked almost involuntarily in certain situations. He doubted the Gryffindor would hurt his brother, though.
.....Well, Drewett had quietly hoped Rory wouldn't have noticed. He pretended to ruffle his hair to hide how pink his ears were slowly turning. "Thanks, I guess." Welp. Nothing going on here, Rory. Ahem. "Well, aside from studying, y'know?" He asked, while arranging the parchments of notes on runecasting he took earlier. He didn't doubt that Rory enjoyed studying, but he was sure his roomie didn't spend all the time studying. Right?
