The brown-haired boy wasn't the humourous type, but Drewett definitely understood what Rory meant by that. He personally had nothing against Gryffindors—half a lie because he still did not like the idea of that Gryffindor kid, whom Dia was apparently crushing on, treating his unbiological sister with little respect—but Rory was different. Drewett could tolerate the Gryffindor type of loudness, or their recklessness, or their 'Gryffindor-ness' in general. His friend, here, just...well, couldn't. Not as much as Drewett could, at least. "Lucky you, we d-didn't get bunked with them," he said, letting out a chuckle. You know what that would have been? A disaster.

On second thought, having Alessandro and Hudson in one tower was a bit of a disaster too. But that wasn't the point.

Nice. Drewett tried to act oh so casually there as he replaced his other books back into his trunk, but the tinge of red on the tips of his ears were likely giving him away. "Your studying corner will be off-limits, d-don't worry," he replied. Just to assure Rory of Drewett's respect for his privacy. If anything, it was quite the motivation for him to study OWLs. Drewett wasn't the easily distracted kind, but sometimes nice distractions were good to keep his head from exploding from information overload. Even a Ravenclaw could tell when they've had enough. "And you?" He threw the question back at Rory.

Imagine bunking with Gryffindors - no, imagine bunking with Kodee again. Uh, no thank you. He had his share of rough wake-up calls, messiness, and untimely wrestling. Now, he convinced his parents to give him the attic so he can have his small haven, especially when he needed to paint or listen to music. So, he could not go back to bunking with gryffies. "Oh yeah. Kodee has kind of given me allergies against bunking with Gryffindors." His reply was with a small chuckle. His eyes were fixed upwards on the ceiling, he grabbed his stress ball and started throwing it.

Look at Drew blushing his answer away. Rory couldn't help but feel a little proud over getting to his friend with just one word. He was getting better at it! "Nice red ears, Drew." he teased. "For me? I dunno." He kept throwing his ball, one leg propped up while the other stretched out on the bed. His mind was racing unlike his casual demeanor. He really did not know.

She did look over at the windowsill when he gestured towards it. "That's exactly what I need." The girl smiled back and moved to have a better look at what he had there. She wasn't as into visual arts as she was into other things such as music and more importantly, Quidditch, but she wasn't against them either. If someone was good at it, they could create some of the most beautiful things and Anna appreciated that. "Do you do this often?" She asked curiously as she looked around at all of his paint. He seemed like he knew what he was doing, but she couldn't remember if she had ever seen him out there like he was now. Then again, she never really had many reasons to walk through that corridor.

He was Rory. Anna nodded. So there were... Kodee, Faith... what was the other girl's name again? And Rory. Alright, she could work with that. The Gryffindor nodded again as she picked up one of his paints to have a better look at. "I do, and Faith. She was in my team." As in, the team she chose when she used to be the Captain. Good days. Except for the whole Zoryn thing. Those were more of a pain than anything, but still. Good days! "Kodee's a good egg." She continued, putting the paint down and turning to smile at... Rory. See, she remembered the name, boom! Anna got along pretty well with Kodee even though the kid's best friend was Anna's self proclaimed enemy - pffffhaha, Merlin. She was about to add to her comment saying Kodee and herself had spent a good amount of time wasting time in their Common Room instead of doing homework, when she thought a bit better about it. This boy was a Ravenclaw, and if he was anything like her own brother - who wasn't even a Ravenclaw but was a big fat nerd - he would bother Kodee for Merlin knows how long regarding homework. "We hang out in the Common Room sometimes." There, that was better. Maybe she can go into more details once she figures out if Rory is the type of Ravenclaw that would be bothered by these things or not. Chuckle.

Rory had taken a small break from the painting when Anna joined him officially. His concentration always faltered upon people joining him, but it wasn't always a bad thing. sometimes he was stuck and more interaction with the environment around him prompted him to unstuck - in better words, more interaction meant more inspiration. "The painting? Yeah. Sitting in a corridor and making a mess? Not really." The portraits over his head were still chattering - analyzing his work, no, no, analyzing his drafts which annoyed him a little. "Do you do this often?" He smiled, meaning the wandering.

Faith and Kodee, sure. He nodded, he missed having Faith in school with them. She was a true character around here. "Yeah." He replied absently at her answers, looking back down at his painting and starting with some strokes again. He started mixing colors, trying to get to the shade he had in his head. "Everyone must know Kodee. He's hard to miss." he joked, finally making a few lines on the canvas.
