As it was said (by Adam many, many times throughout the course of his marriage) great minds thought alike, and his mind was second greatest only to that of Lorelai. Being with her was a relaxation technique in itself, even if they were just bumping into each other in a sweet store.

"Double the fudge it is, then," Adam said as he held the basket out toward his wife. "Does anyone still like the jumping bug gummy things or is that just Reuben?" And Albert, of course - Saffrons boyfriend was a massive child at heart, really, but Adam was eternally grateful for the amount the couple had done for them.
