It was so hard for Rory to define relationships with people, he was such a closed book he barely shared anything significant with people other than his siblings. This probably was not healthy, but it wasn't something of his control. He was raised in a crowded home, he did not find the urgency to open up to people outside his family. He could see this was not the case with Kodee and Jolie, but hey, they were not introverts.
"One of the corners in the Ravenclaw towers. I'll show you tomorrow." He did not mind sharing his studying corner with Drew. "But please don't show anyone else, I'll have to change it then." And kids who are already half-prisoned in the castle had an overload of energy that they'd unleash on his sweet, tidy corner. No, thank you.
"So, where have you been?" Drewett didn't really consider a lot of people as his best friend. Save for Hudson, of course, because that had always been established since their first year and since they've been through so much with their owls grandkids. But he and Rory seemed to get each other when it came to things they want kept private to be kept, well, private. It had always been interesting to brown-haired Ravenclaw how the Chosen triplets were all so different. Not that he was surprised about it. No two people were alike. It was just, as he'd first thought, interesting.
Rory didn't have to show him, actually, but Drewett truly appreciated how the other Claw somehow trusted him with his private studying corner. "Perks of being a Ravenclaw, d-don't you think?" He shared. He'd never really gotten to explore all the nearby towers, but Drewett had figured they would one day become great places for peace and quiet. Rory just proved that. "And I-I won't." Drewett always kept his word and he would never want to break anyone's trust. Nobody liked studying where there was noise. He wouldn't want his room mate to suffer through that.
"Besides the library, I assume?" He had just told Rory he came from the library, after all. "Well...uhm...around." He offered a tiny smile. Rory would know of Drewett's usual places nowadays since the mist had taken away the grounds and the kitchens from them. It wasn't a long list between the library, classes, a random quiet classroom, the trophy room, and wherever one Evan Eastwood—his girlfriend—was.
