Those last ones were not exactly part of a Bontanist's job description, but Q liked to think his title was something more of a guideline than an enforced rule.

Pulling at his tie, the young man settled himself down in the comfiest seat he could find, unaware that the occupant opposite him had been eager for some time alone. Q cleared his throat before a cough could properly make its way out of his throat, and began the mind-numbing task of highlighting! bits! of! text!
The cushiony couch had sunk down a lot further than Yassi had anticipated it would, giving her a slight surprise as the cushions enveloped her. The whole debacle caused a smile to dance on her lips as she shook her head at herself. Oh, how embarrassing! Fortunately her salad was safe and so was her hummus, arguably the most important element to the meal. She began to hum to herself quietly as she ate her salad with poise (though eating salad whilst being poised was quite a feat), looking up every now and again to see whether or not others would join her.

Perhaps it was her own fault that she hadn't gathered a crowd. It was quite an unusual time to eat lunch, but she hadn't been hungry at the usual hour. No matter, she didn't mind the quiet. It meant there was more time to-- Oh.

She looked up to greet the preoccupied botanist with a warm, welcoming smile but it seemed as though he was far too immersed in his work. His hands looked just as tired as his eyes, but it was the way that he pulled at his tie that warranted her intrigue. Was he stressed out about something?

Though she had been debating over it for a few moments, the brunette held the hummus out towards him with one hand and the box of pita chips with the other. "Hummus?" He looked like he could use a break.
