Cornish had been scoping the lower floors, making sure no one was trapped on the wrong side of the mist. Or left behind, whichever the case may be. He was strolling, almost casual in his approach of the departing students, but anyone who knew him well would be able to tell how on edge he was.
O'Hara was there, and Cornish gave her a broad wink before taking up a spot at the far end of the hallway. He would be last to leave, or at least he wouldn't leave until the students were all gone.
